About Connie Vines





Married with two grown sons, Connie Vines resides deep in the quirky suburbs of southern California with her husband and an adorable little poodle-mix named Chanel. She has published over one hundred short stories (including those of the Thompson Gale Education Series) and non-fiction articles, fifteen novels, and has ghost-written two literary novels and one screenplay. The president of GothRom (Gothic Chapter of Romance Writers), Connie participates in local literary events and judges national and international writing contests.

Her novels have been recognized by Romance Writers of America: The H.O.L.T Medallion (Honoring Outstanding Literary Talent), The Orange Rose (Contemporary Romance), The International Award of Excellence, Fool for Love, First Impressions.  

Her YA/Middle School fiction and historical fictions were giving a literary nod: Dream Realm Award, Independent e-book Award, Frankfurt eBook Award nominee, and National Book Award nominee.
