My Appreciation

I want to thank all the wonderful authors who have graced my blog this week. There have been some awesome posts that allowed the readers a real glimpse into the writer behind the work, and some very titillating excerpts. This was far beyond what I imagined and I thank each of you for taking time to participate. Tomorrow is the last day of the week-long fest, so have at it!

By the way, the blogfest generated 743 views thus far and brought over 200 first time visitors to my site. I'm so impressed and hope we can do this again soon.

On Sunday, I'll be back with my regular posts, the first of which is going to be about doctors and hospitals. I just got back from scheduling a Colonoscopy for July 3rd. My life is so exciting, I'm sure you can't wait for the details. :)

  1. I had a colonoscopy a cou;le of months ago. Not an experience I really want to have again.

  2. Gee, thanks Estella. Couldn't you have lied and said it was an awesome experience and one you would gladly do again? *lol*

I'm not sure why having someone look there is so much more embarrassing than having a pap smear. I don't like either, but I'd choose the pap any day. Unfortunately, there's no reason for one at this point. I had my pap removed some time ago. :)

  3. Thanks for having us, Ginger.

As for the colonoscopy, I had one a few years ago. It wasn't so bad. The cleansing out isn't a whole lot of fun, but I slept through the procedure, so I don't recall any of it. My ride home is in snapshots. That's weird. Like, a snapshot of getting dressed, getting into the car, driving on the tollroad, getting home. I could have said anything to my husband and not recalled it...lol.

Just expect to be sleepy for the day.

As for the no need for a pap smear, girl, even if you had your uterus removed, you still need to have regular pap smears....there are still cervical and uterus cells down there that can mutate. Didn't anyone tell you that?
