Welcome, or welcome back if you're a return visitor. It's Six Sentence Sunday again and time for another dose of Joy's Revelation. It's a little scary how close together the days of the week have become. I feel like I just posted SSS yesterday. Anyhow...Joy is still reeling from finding a birth certificate that displays the name of someone else and wondering if it has anything to do with the scar on her abdomen.
On with my six sentences:
Joy wavered between crying
and pacing the length of her bedroom.
Prickled by nervousness, she questioned her decision. Surely Scott would be repulsed by the
revelation of the secret. Should
she offer back the ring before he demanded it? Images of the beautiful gown she’d picked out floated
through her mind and disintegrated into tattered rags. The imagined sunshine on her upcoming
wedding day disappeared behind massive thunderclouds.
