The Blue Lotus by Marisa Chenery

First of all I'd like to thank Ginger for the invitation to post on her blog.

A little bit about myself, I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and four children. As well as being a romance author I'm a stay at home Mom.

The Blue Lotus is my very first book and it's a paranormal romance. It was released by Liquid Silver Books on Sept. 10th. The Blue Lotus brings a taste of ancient Egypt to the modern day world. With the response I've been getting so far from readers, I will be writing a sequel very soon. I enjoyed writing the first book and I can't wait to get started on the second.

I'll post a blurb below. If you'd like to read an excerpt you can check out my website HERE. You can find The Blue Lotus at Liquid Silver Books HERE.

Kendra Miller finds herself intrigued by the gold pendant her brother sent her from Egypt. She finds the enameled blue lotus flower on it lovely, but the hieroglyphs engraved on the back are a mystery she wants to solve. After innocently translating the glyphs, she sets off a chain of events that can only end in disaster.

Nefertem, drawn to the woman who summoned him, knows his love for Kendra can only lead to heartache. Being bound to the pendant, his stay in her world is limited.

Together they try to stop the disaster Kendra has unwittingly set in motion; Nefertem fights the changes taking place inside him. If they fail, Kendra may pay for her actions with her life.
