You Win Some, You Lose Some

I stayed up tonight and joined other EPPIE nominees in a chat room, waiting for word on the winners. Sadly, I didn't win. The nod went to Linda Bleser, and I'm sure her story was very deserving. I have to keep reminding myself that being nominated in such a competitive contest was an honor in itself. Still, I wanted to be the 'one.' BUT...on a happy note, I found this in my inbox. Sparta Rose won Cover of the Month of February at The Author's Lounge. So, I guess, I'm sort of a winner...I picked the picture for the cover. *smile*
