Christmas at the Dowell's House

Nothing says Christmas like a fireplace.  Without the chimney, Santa has to find a new way inside.  That won't be a problem at Roseanne and Roger's house, where children and children's children abound.

Add in a beautiful Christmas tree, and picture it surrounded by gifts, and what else could you want? You'll have it all with family, fire, food, and a festive tree to light the season.

Add in a great holiday read and you've got a winning season.  Just so happens that Roseanne has a book set in the season.  She's sharing a little teaser of Time to Love Again:

A modern day Christmas Carol, but it takes more than a night for the man next door, his granddaughter, and her sister's ghost to help Rose Asbury come out of her seclusion.

People think fifty-eight year old, Rose Asbury is a recluse, but she doesn’t care. She wants to be left alone. She doesn’t need anyone and no one needs her and that’s just fine. At least she didn’t until this year. For some reason this Christmas season is different. Suddenly, she’s melancholy and discontent .

The man next door doesn’t help matters.  So her stomach tumbles every time she sees him, that doesn’t mean anything. Hunger pangs, nerves. Why doesn't he  leave her alone?  To top it all off, his granddaughter and her friends insist on playing in her yard, sledding, building snowmen and throwing snowballs at her house.
When her sister’s ghost shows up, Rose’s life takes a drastic turn.

If you have friends and family who love to read, books make great gifts.  You can find this one at Amazon.
