Wednesday's Wisdom

I try to avoid doom and gloom, but this was something that needs to be shared.I planned to share my new book cover, but somehow this seemed a wee bit more important. We all live with our head in the sand when it comes to things like this, and it's time to straighten up and look around. Strangely, I considered Tennessee would always be a safe place. Apparently not, since according to Bare Naked Islam's Weblog where I got this picture, there is a training ground right in my backyard. Why is that? People training on our own soil to destroy us? Something is very wrong here. While I see by my 'poll' in the sidebar that humor is the leading draw to keep people coming back, I'm sorry, there is nothing remotely funny about this:

"AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ BY EVERY AMERICAN!
PLEASE PASS THIS ON."

Juval Aviv was the Israeli Agent upon whom the movie "Munich" was based. He was Golda Meir's bodyguard; she appointed him to track down and bring to justice the Palestinian terrorists who took the Israeli athletes hostage and killed them during the Munich Olympic Games. In a lecture in New York City a few weeks ago, he shared information that EVERY American needs to know -- but that our government has not yet shared with us.

He predicted the London subway bombing on the Bill O'Reilly show on Fox News stating publicly that it would happen within a week. At the time, O'Reilly laughed and mocked him saying that in a week he wanted him back on the show. But, unfortunately, within a week the terrorist attack had occurred. Juval Aviv gave intelligence (via what he had gathered in Israel and the Middle East ) to the Bush Administration about 9/11 a month before it occurred. His report specifically said they would use planes as bombs and target high profile buildings and monuments. Congress has since hired him as a security consultant.

Now for his future predictions. He predicts the next terrorist attack on the U.S. will occur within the next few months. Forget hijacking airplanes, because he says terrorists will NEVER try and hijack a plane again as they know the people onboard will never go down quietly again. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke -- that we have been reactionary rather than proactive in developing strategies that are truly effective.

For example: 1) Our airport technology is outdated. We look for metal, and the new explosives are made of plastic. 2) He talked about how some idiot tried to light his shoe on fire. Because of that, now everyone has to take off their shoes. A group of idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives. Now we can't bring liquids on board. He says he's waiting for some suicidal maniac to pour liquid explosive on his underwear; at which point, security will have us all traveling naked! Every strategy we have is 'reactionary.' 3) We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates. Aviv says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they will target busy times on the front end of the airport when/where people are checking in. It would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom or get a drink, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. In Israel , security checks bags BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport.

Aviv says the next terrorist attack here in America is imminent and will involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places where large groups of people congregate. (i. e., Disneyland, Las Vegas casinos, big cities (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, etc.) and that it will also include shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, etc., as well as rural America this time (Wyoming, Montana, etc.). The attack will be characterized by simultaneous detonations around the country (terrorists like big impact), involving at least 5-8 cities, including rural areas. Aviv says terrorists won't need to use suicide bombers in many of the larger cities, because at places like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas , they can simply valet park a car loaded with explosives and walk away.

Aviv says all of the above is well known in intelligence circles, but that our U. S. government does not want to 'alarm American citizens' with the facts. The world is quickly going to become 'a different place', and issues like 'global warming' and political correctness will become totally irrelevant.

On an encouraging note, he says that Americans don't have to be concerned about being nuked. Aviv says the terrorists who want to destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons. They like to use suicide as a front-line approach. It's cheap, it's easy, it's effective; and they have an infinite abundance of young militants more than willing to 'meet their destiny'. He also says the next level of terrorists, over which America should be most concerned, will not be coming from abroad. But will be, instead, 'homegrown' -- having attended and been educated in our own schools and universities right here in the U. S. He says to look for 'students' who frequently travel back and forth to the Middle East . These young terrorists will be most dangerous because they will know our language and will fully understand the habits of Americans; but that we Americans won't know/understand a thing about them.

Aviv says that, as a people, Americans are unaware and uneducated about the terroristic threats we will, inevitably, face. America still has only have a handful of Arabic and Farsi speaking people in our intelligence networks, and Aviv says it is critical that we change that fact SOON.

If there is any "silver lining" to this prediction, it is the absence of massive nuclear or biological attacks. Bombings of the type Aviv predicts may have the effect of both awakening and enraging segments of the American population who have been blithely dismissing terrorism as an outdated concern. The jihadists' swaggering preference for houri-fixated young shaheeds may have unexpected results in this country, where increasing numbers of citizens are already "up in arms" over the Obama administrations policies. The cry that went up after 9/11 -- "Who are they? Why do they hate us?" -- can now be answered comprehensively and convincingly by those of us who have made the effort to learn.

The text from this message came from Infidel Bloggers Alliance. If you really want to be shocked, you should visit the sites from where this information came, but warning...especially on Bare Naked Islam, there are videos posted that show horrendous things that happen around the world. If you aren't squeamish, prepare to be appalled.

  1. Geez Ginger, that is definately something all of us need to know. I will be posting the link to that article on Twitter. It is truly amazing to me that we do not check bags before they enter the airport. It seems to me that that would be a no brainer. Thanks for posting that today and I'm sure there will be a big family discussion on this topic tonight at the dinner table. Our family likes to stay informed of our politics, enviornment and international issues. Thanks again

  2. Ginger, what an eye opening post. I always wondered if what they did for security check at the airports actually caught everything or not. Now I know and I also know now why they make you take your shoes off for. I didn't realize Tennessee was one of the places either. I too also thought TN was safe place. My mom keeps telling me that no matter where you are, it might not be safe. All you hear anymore is about people killing people.

  3. This was an informative post, Ginger. We do have to be more aware of what is happening all around us, and I am glad you took the time to research this.

  4. Wow, Ginger, talk about eye-opening. Thanks for putting the info out there. I hope it gets passed around through many circles.

  5. Very scary stuff, but not the least surprising...I've thought for a long time this country will fall from within....Tabs

  6. Thanks for posting this. Being involved in EMS, one of the threats that was not shared with the public that it was possible terrorists would steal ambulance and fire trucks to use for bombings.
There have been other things and we really need to stay alert.

  7. While I do agree that staying safe and being proactive about that is important, and that we shouldn't rule out the possibility of another attack, a lot of the information here is outdated and copied from an old source that has since been proven false (Snopes has more information under their 9/11 section, or you can do a search for "Juval Aviv" to get to it).

It's better that we arm ourselves with the truth, rather than baseless fear, so while I appreciate the intent here, I think a lot needs to be corrected before it can be of real use to us.

  8. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. FOOD! a cheap insurance policy. Store at least 90 days worth. What will you do if you cannot get to Wal-mart to get groceries. I would rather suck on the end of a pistol before I rely on the Government for food rations.

  9. Yoroshi Queen:

I would like to know what you consider in this article to be “outdated” or cause for baseless fear. I never knew that people actually used the Snopes website as the holy expert of all things real. While the dates may have been off and the name Fox News was used in place of Fox Net, these errors certainly do not invalidate any of the facts, madam. I’m not surprised to see that Snopes used one article of reference in their in-depth task to rupudite all things Aviv and that source happened to be a left-wing UK newspaper that is well-known to kowtow to Muslims. “The Guardian’s “ credibility is as believable and fair and balanced as the New York Times, but I’m sure if a newspaper says its true, you believe it. Mr. Aviv has made these predictions, he was a member of the Mossaud, he is a well-known expert in the study of terrorism and played the significant role of trying to prevent the massacre in Munich.

We now have a president who is already planning to “dialogue” with the “Moderate Taliban” (they must be the kindly gentlemen who only throw small rocks while stoning infidels) and who appointed a liberal idiot to run the Department of Homeland Security who refuses to use the term “Terrorist” when referring to these barbaric, cowardly mother fuckers, but instead chooses to be politically correct and label their atrocities as “Man Made Disasters”. Our borders remain unsecure, Clueless Pelosi is meeting with illegal aliens and lauding them as patriots, training camps for terrorists continue to grow throughout this country and we as a nation are falling to our knees to Muslim murderers faster than Denmark and you suggest “we first arm ourselves with the truth." My advice to you and others who refuse to accept the deadly seriousness of terrorism is pull your head out of your ass, pay attention and educate yourself to the “truths” of the world because poo-pooing anything this real is ridiculous. Denying facts does not erase them and tolerance of radical Islam should be deemed a crime.

  10. Gwenn,

Thank you for replying. Firstly, I'd just like to say that I consider the tone of your response to be rather rude, which I consider to be uncalled for.

So I'm trying to keep the tone of my own response on the level that I feel is appropriate, but I apologise in advance if I let something get to me and come across as rude as I found you to have done.

While I understand the message you were trying to get across, most of it was really lost in the personal attacks, incorrect assumptions about myself, and your name calling.

First of all, one of the main things I consider to be "outdated" are the references to Aviv claiming that attacks are "imminent" and coming within the next few months. These things have been repeated for years now, and so, yes, I consider that to be outdated.

I used baseless to refer to that, but perhaps that wasn't the best way to phrase it. Of course we have a reason to be afraid...but what I meant was, thinking we're going to be attacked any day now, because someone said so a few years ago is NOT the reason to get upset.

If I were writing about this in my own blog, perhaps I would have ended what I wrote with several sources for people to have checked out, and gone into more depth on the research. However, I was (an am!) leaving a comment on someone else's post, which is, on top of that, a blog I don't read and am not familiar with.

Therefore, I don't really consider it my responsibility to do all the legwork on gathering the available information together, and I suggested Snopes because that's usually a good starting point to see what's being said, who said it, and what leads to follow in checking out the information for yourself.

Hmm. I think that's all I have to say.

  11. This is too scary for words. I hope we all wake up and realize that we need to be more proactive in keeping ourselves safe.

  12. Ginger,

This is a subject that needs to be discussed so that we are all forewarned, no matter what. Since 911 I have learned to look around me all the time for anything suspicious. I just hope people don't forget that lesson and become too relaxed.

I hope that we can find ways to protect ourselves, but the reality is that someone will always find a way to do what they really want to do.

This is why we really, really need happy endings these days.

  13. It's evident this is a topic about which some people are very passionate, and rightfully so. These are very scary times, and rather than see a light at the end of the tunnel, we just keep seeing more and more things develop. I can barely watch the news because I feel my blood pressure rising the longer I sit and listen to the idiotic decisions being made by elected officials. I'm sick of finger pointing and candy coating. Whether the information I shared pertains to tomorrow or two hundred tomorrows, the truth is there is always a threat looming. The word, "imminent" means just that. Terrorism exists all over the world, whether it be in suicide bombings or Islamic female genital mutilation. If we don't stand up for ourselves now, we may never have the opportunity to stand up at all. Being forewarned is being armed with knowledge. That's all I meant to say.

  14. "The word, "imminent" means just that."

Thank you for summarizing my point so nicely. :)

  15. Ginger,

This is scary, but we need to be more aware of what's going on in the world. The rise of "home-grown" terrorists is shocking, and our government and most citizens are far too complacent. I like Glenn Beck's idea of getting us back to a 9/12 mentality. On the day after 9/11, we were well aware of the dangers yet we were determined to stand together to protect this country. We need to think that way again.

  16. whoaa... that is a lot to learn before the first cup of joe. Thanks for the education, Ginger!

  17. Hey Queen,
When posting your opinion on any blog, expect to view ones of a different nature. I personally could care less if you were offended by the "tone" of my response...you should have been. Too many adults today feel they are entitled to breeze though life without any controversy or harsh words, as if guaranteed some sort of right to be "talked to nicely". More people should be offended on a regular basis and I don't candy coat the truth to make it easier for some to swallow.

Your focus on timing and your statement that we should not be upset NOW leads me to believe that you are of the opinion we should wait for the immminent attacks to occur before being vigilant. You are a classic example of what Mr. Aviv views as appalling....The ridiculous route our idiotic government travels in its quest for airport security. Don't worry now, just sit back and wait until something is no longer a treat, but rather a reality, and then react. Just one question for you..when should we worry and pay attention? What was that date again?

  18. Hey Gwenn, When are you going to start your own blog? - What an eloquent, feisty, uncompromisng lady you are - Love your assertion that the time for being nice and polite is done and we need to be offended more often when something doesn't look right - and this doesn't. Watch out Ginger, she'll be writing newspaper articles next [no, not The Guardian, the museli sandal-wearing brigade scare me too] and she'll grab that spotlight before you know it.

  19. I have to agree with Gwenn. It's long past time to stop pussyfooting around. If one is shocked by her words, that's too bad. If that what it takes to wake people up so be it. And quite frankly, there are too many pansy-waist Americans willing to close their eyes to what is happening around them. The insidious takeover of many nations by the Muslims, and this nation is not exempt, is more than alarming it is disastrous. Mosques are rising up all over the country and those of us who are not blind know what these Mosques can and will be used for. And as far as Snopes is concerned...whatever that leftist site has to say positively about the present administration's ability to protect this nation, since that is not in their agenda to do so, or the Islamic terrorists can only be taken with a grain of salt.

  20. Gwenn (and others?),

I'm not sure why you've decided to put words into my mouth. The only point I'm making is that we should be acting on the truth. I suppose, though, that if you're missing THAT point, then I shouldn't be surprised that you would so easily read into my comments that which is just not there.

If you don't see the importance of working from recent information, of forming your opinions and plans based on the truth, well, I suppose that's one way to go about it...As long as you're not responsible for my safety, then it's not really my business.

I am not content to look at old email forwards and call myself informed. That was my point, and the only thing you should read from my comments.

  21. YQ,
I think the point people are trying to make is that it is not important that what I shared doesn't have a time stamp on it, rather there are terrorist risks that pose imminent danger to our world. I'm constantly amazed at how many people on the street interviewed by Hannity on Fox are so clueless to what is going on around them. I really shouldn't be, because until I started tuning in and listening to newscasters not swayed by party lines, I was one of the 'blind.' I won't be again.

As for Snopes, I do check them for some things, but they aren't the be all, end all in what is true and what is not. The information on the terrorist camps came from the Tenneseean Newspaper, and the information in the rest of the post is a pertinent warning no matter when it was issued. I don't think anyone was trying to put words in your mouth or disrespect your opinion, just expressing their own concerns, and like I said...we are all very passionate about them.
    Thanks to everyone who posted.

  22. Thanks for this important post Ginger. There is a lot that is going on that people just aren't paying attention to. It is good to try to get the word out. In my opinion there are rough times ahead and I hope people will be prepared - physically, emotionally and spiritually!
